To All,ToshMills 2016

 Happy 2017 New Year!

I hope all of you had a wonderful and eventful Holiday Season –

To start things off I want to say thank you all very much for giving me the support to run Navy Club USA in 2016 without a hitch. I know that 2017 will be challenging and even more rewarding as NCUSA moves forward.

There’s a lot of improvement that took place within NCUSA last year but without your participation this could have not taken place. We’re a TEAM!

A couple of events that will be forthcoming are the Recruiter of the Year Luncheon in Washington, DC, on February 1, 2, 2017, Great Lakes Recruit Graduation on April 21, 2017 and NCUSA National Convention in Gettysburg, PA on June 15,16, 17, 2017. If you are unable to attend these functions, but would like to hear the proceedings, you may listen by telephone conference: Dial–in-Number is 1-712-432-3082 and the Conference Code: 329138 followed by the # sign and it’s free!

Membership for 2017 still needs work. I know that without your hard work and support NCUSA would be DIW - Keep plugging away!

Also, to get the latest and greatest happening with NCUSA current events, check out our national website. Jim Zeszutek, NCUSA NPIO has been doing an outstanding job maintaining and keeping the website up to speed – BRAVO ZULU!

In closing, I want to personally wish you All the Best for 2017.

Tis the Season to be Jolly!!!!

Christmas season is a joyful and busy time of the year.  I know that we’re all out and about purchasing and wrapping gifts, attending Christmas musical programs, and enjoying parties and family gatherings.  But this is the time of year that we should look back and reflect on what we’ve accomplished this past year and be thankful.   It’s hard to believe that the year 2016 is coming to a close.  I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!  A lot of great events have taken place with NCUSA this past year and you should be proud of yourselves to have made this happen.  This includes the commissioning of Navy Club USS Julius A. Furer Ship #6 in North Carolina, the appearance of Navy Club of Lancaster County (PA) Ship #166 in the Veterans Day Parade in New York City, and Navy Club of Tyrone, PA Ship #589 is in the process of starting up an Auxiliary.  Your efforts do not go unnoticed!

Here are some recent accomplishments of your Shipmates:

*  Illinois Navy Club of Sangamon Ship #32 hosted a Navy’s Birthday Party which had Ham & Beans on Oct 13.

*  Illinois Navy Club of Sangamon Ship #32 Participated in the “Honor Flight” at Springfield Capitol Airport on Oct 25.

*  Illinois Squadron sent representatives to the commissioning ceremony of the USS Illinois (SSN-786) in Groton Connecticut.

*  Wisconsin Kenosha Ship 40 provided 125 veteran "holiday goodie bags" to nursing home Kenosha Veterans during Dec.

*  Wisconsin Kenosha Ship 40 sponsored the annual Kenosha Pearl Harbor Rememberance day at Kenosha Navy Park.

We would love to hear what your club is doing.  Send your news to our webmaster, Jim Zeszutek (This email address is being protected from spambots. From our house to yours, Merry Christmas and a Happy Prosperous 2017 Year!!!!
